You are allowed to create your own breed of Dragon, or Griffin, but you must be willing to let other's sign up for your breed. To go about this you MUST follow the form below, and wait for it to be accepted. When it is Accepted, your claim will be deleted and it will be placed on the Dragon, or Griffin, Claim board. I'm not sure how to do this, is it okay if I put it here?
Species Name: Moonshade Species Abilities: The spirit of the Moon coursing through their very being gives the Moonshade dragon the ability to breathe yellow fire that burns blueish-white. It's yellow as it flies through the air, but once it strikes something, it stays there in the exact spot it struck and burns. The barb on their tail (see physical description) is also used as their biggest weapon, and contains enough poison to knock out a human child, although it will only cause physical pain to an adult or adolescent. Species Weakness: They can't stand to see anything seriously hurt. They will not hunt sheep or cows, only fish, which are the only things they will kill or allow to die. If something is ever hurt or dying in front of them, especially if it's a human or another dragon, they will risk their own life getting it to safety, and ignore their own needs as they try to nurse it back to health. because of this, they are known to become very weak while trying to revive the victim. They are also known to become extremely weak during a lunar eclipse, or a new moon, when the moon is completely blocked out, although they do have a large burst of strength during solar eclipses, when the moon blocks out the sun. Species Shot Limit: 8 Species General Personality: These dragons are extremely peaceful unless provoked. However, they're provoked pretty easily, and they're pretty territorial. All female Seashades have this dominant, snarky attitude about them until they become mothers. Some of them have a weak spot for helpless things like babies or wounded humans or dragons. This only happens with females. If another dragon, for example, is hurt, their dormant motherly instincts will immediately kick in, and they'll try to save it. If the wounded dragon dies while they're trying to protect it, the Seashade will cry. They only cry when something like this happens. Very easily trained; they love children and females, but they don't exactly seem to take a liking to adult and adolescent males. No one knows why. Typical saddle and harnesses are used when flying. They are very fast fliers when they need to be, but they're also really smooth. Very good dragons to first learn to fly on.They're very sweet dragons, wouldn't harm a fly unless that fly was the size of a yak and it tried to kill them or someone they loved (flies in Berk CAN get that big in the summer). They don't like to be kept inside at night, though, so it's best to let them sleep outside, even in the most inclement weather. They'll come inside if they want to. They love to hunt for themselves, so do them a favor and give them the freedom they want. And at the end of the night, if they like you, they'll always come back home. Species Looks: This dragon is small in size, with a short neck and a single pair of short yellow horns. Their heads are shaped rather Night Fury-like (but with short yellow horns instead of smaller horn antennae), and they also have the same wings, but Moonshades lack the extra wings on their tail. On the tip of their tail, however, they have a sharp barb, shaped like that on the tip of a scorpion's tail, with enough venom to knock out a human child, and if an adult is injected, it won't knock them out, but it will burn like crazy. The females are generally colored the blueish-white color of moonlight, and the males are typically all a pale yellow hue. Most of them have blue or yellow eyes, dependent on gender, and the eye color corresponds to the scale color. The thing about their scales is that they actually glow like moonlight. They have the ability to dim down their glow when sneaking around, but when they fight, they glow as bright as they can to try and make themselves look bigger. They are thought to be a distant cousin of the Night Fury, due to their similar shape, although Moonshades are slimmer and swifter than Night Furies.
